I so wanna see it! I'm a big fan of the Halloween movies, and i cant wait to see the remake. I saw the advertisement for it, and it looks pretty good! :D Anyone else gonna go see it?

Can't wait! I've always loved the origanal series, now I'm anxious to see Rob Zombie's sick little twists he adds!

I'm looking forward to this movie. I really don't care that it's a remake. I'm just happy to see Michael on the big screen again. The last time that happened (Halloween 8 ) I didn't walk away too happy.

Well I'm a big Halloween fan so I have to see it. I own Halloween, Halloween 2 and Halloween H20. The rest are really not my thing! :)

Besides most of the actors are no longer interested in doing it or are dead, so If Mr. Zombie can make a decent remake and continue on with the storyline...then that's cool! I like to know what makes micheal keep coming back. There was the Thorn legacy introducted in Halloween 6. But they never developed it further.

I wasn't going to see it....

But then I found out Malcolm McDowell is in it, to which I replied:

"Fuck, now I have to go see it."

The Devil's Rejects was extremely interesting, so I expect this remake to be truly peachy. Looking forward to it. :gogirl:

its never going to beat the Original. but, i can't wait. i trust that Rob Zombie has made it truly disturbing as his last two films disturbed the hell out of me!!!

I can't wait to see it. If anyone can do a remake, Rob Zombie would be the best for Halloween. Although I don't think it will (or can) be better than Halloween 1 or Halloween 2. Jamie Lee Curtis was perfect.

Rob Zombie is a horrible filmmaker... and now he's going to ruin this franchise even more than it was with its many dreadful sequels....

House of 1000 Corpses and the Devils Rejects were remakes of the Texas Chainsaw Massacres 1 + 2 and he botched them up right good... now he's going to botch up the Halloween series...

Someone please tkae the camera away from Mr. Zombie before he goes after any more classic horror movies....PLEASE....

The original Halloween is an absolute classic, the first time I saw it was on a video, I wish I could have seen it in a theatre on the big screen, musta been awesome. I'd like to see the new one..|

i will see it but i gotta say i am sure it will not beat the orignal at all. the first 2 were awsome, tbh if the films endded there it would have been good for me. i don't like it then film makers take a successful film and drag it until it gets a poorer name. its happening with films like Saw, number one was awsome 2 a let down 3 was alright, if they kept with just number one, every time Saw enters ur mind u would think wow!

I know what you mean! Sometimes movies are so much better on the big screen. I think I remember a few years back, some small movie theaters in my area showed the original Halloween on the big screen. I know at a local drive in, they had a horror movie weekend and they showed old horror movies, it was so awesome!

I saw the trailer and things didn't smell good for me. [-X

Michael Myers with fighting moves???????

Rob Zombie, what the Hell were you thinking of!!! :grrr:

I'm a huge horror fan and I love Rob Zombie movies so i'll defiantly be there opening day.

i tried a few times to sit thru 'Corpses and just couldn't do it....didn't even bother with 'Rejects. now the trailers i've seen for Halloween do look good, but i don't know about the whole back story thing though. I always thought it was scarier to NOT explain a killers motives. plus it'll be kinda weird seeing ANYONE but Jamie Lee playing the part of Laurie Strode, i mean come on...SHE OWN THAT ROLE!!! might've been kinda interesting to see Danielle Harris in the role though.

I agree with some of the posters when I say that it's pointless to make a remake of a film that doesn't need to be remade. Halloween is a classic in the horror genre and it's a great movie that scares you without over the top blood and guts scenes, IE: the new black christmas remake.

the only thing really worth watchin in the 'Xmas remake was Oliver Hudson

I'm gonna see it. I liked House of 1000 Corpses and LOVED The Devil's Rejects, so I'm eager to see what Rob Zombie is gonna do to Halloween.

If it was any other director thats semi-hot or hot right now, I wouldn't see it.
