I sometimes hear people calling each other something that sounds like "bay". For example, they may greet one another by saying "Alright, bay?". I had assumed that it was some mangled form of "boy" (I had heard something like "bah" a few years prior) and I have seen it spelt differently in a text message. I had no idea it implied so much affection.

He's not being held in prison...........he's serving a sentence for knowingly breaking the law. It may be a screwed up law, but he knew it was illegal to proselytise and promote christianity in N.Korea.

It would be like trying to organise a gay pride parade in Tehran.

The people who sent/supported him assumed the U.S. Gov. would bend over backwards to get him out...............I wonder why they don't just pray, they believe it's the answer to everything else? :confused:

The North Korean government is a reprehensible regime and I think that their actions should be condemned in the strongest possible terms. What they have done to their people is a crime against humanity.
