Why am I so confused about my sexuality?

Re: Is it possible for someone to become gay overnight?

Yup. you're talking to one. I had absolutely no gay inclinations till my mid thirties, then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I know this is not the popular belief, but I believe in sexual fluidity, and that many outside factors can affect who you're attracted to, and at different stages of life too. Many just strive to resist these urges, both gay and straight. Are some born gay or straight? sure, but some are influenced by environment too. Just take the time to figure things out for yourself.

Hey Mikey, you're not the first. I've met several guys who didn't come out until their late 30s or late 20s. Married and with children, etc, etc. They have come to accept the reality. Their families also accepted the realities. It was hard for some of the children, of course. But I think the earlier you realize this and adjust your life, the better. And as long as you are continually engaged with your children, supportive and such (with your partner also) then the relationships are much better.

Anyway, good luck and God bless.

took me no time at all to adjust at all. The reality is that I need and have both sexes. Now I have them and life is good (or at least much better than it was).

Thanks for the good wishes!
