^ Advance apologies to my American friends, but I have to admit that here in the UK the 'only in America' reference is only ever used when referring to 'negative' or weird events. I can't recall an ocassion when it has been used in reference to a 'positive' or success story. !oops!

I had a friend who was born in Kenya and lived there for quite some time before coming to the UK. I had to explain to her that Africa was a continent and not a country.
