Why are asian guys usually bottom in relationships with white men

But it is ignorant to ignore that this trend does exist in significant numbers. I mean just go look at dating ads and you will see many asian guys ONLY wanting masculine white tops and white guys wanting asian twinks. I am not inferring nothing more or less. Just want educated ideas.

I suppose it's an ethnic preference ingrained by a white male dominated society where white males are at the top of everything from the media to politics. In being so, Asian males who feel inferior to this ostensible white male superiority desire to have what they have hitherto not been able to achieve, even going to the extremes of dating older Caucasians just to say they have a white partner as if it makes up for this socially believed inadequacy. Asian males have consistently been portrayed throughout the mainstream as effeminate and subordinate, denying them the full measure of masculinity that white males typically enjoy. Even now, Asian role models who equal the attraction and power of their white counterpoints are rare. It's like that experiment where the black children were given the option to choose between a white or black doll. They chose the white doll due to its perceived superiority. Maybe Asian men need to realize this narrow attraction is an extension of their low self-esteem. Maybe this is an explanation for it, maybe not.

The "trend" really lends itself to the ideal that asian women were viewed as submissive and docile for centuries, and men from westernized nations seemed to make good husbands to them. That part of the trend has been "popularized" since the 2nd World War, and the Vietnam/Korean Wars afterwards. It's actually kind of funny to me that this particular trend is regulated to Japanese and Korean women nowadays - mainly so because of anime's hugely illogical influence here.

I do not know how that relates to men - unless they view themselves with the same pseudo-ideals.

This is all from what i've learned over the years from the intertwining cultures - i'll be the first to admit that since i find it silly as fuck, i haven't done much more than surface research. But that's a start.

I don't think this is strictly true - it's too much of a generalisation - I am personally friends with a number of couples in which the top is very effiminate and the bottom not so much.
