Yea, German is way harder than French or English for that matter. But why do you say that you'll actually need it, Elegant-Perverse?
 
The stereotype goes that French people demand that you learn their language before you come to their country, but that German people are bi-lingual and will speak English to tourists. I've also heard that many of their signs are also in English.

A lot of variety in Germany. There are a lot of immigrants too, wich is a good thing in my opinion, mixed are more beatiful :)

It's not the same to go to a country as tourist than go to live. I can't imagine to go to a country to study or work and not knowing the language.

I have to agree! German guys are very hot! I did quite a bit of traveling to Germany for a previous job. Loved the food, the beer, and the guys. I was treated very well. The Germans were very hospitable.
