Why are porn actors called models?

^The word "whore" has a negative connotation. Nobody, no matter how comfortable he is in his chosen profession, calls himself a whore... that's a word used by other people to belittle him. Hence it implies that you're judging these people and finding them wanting... which makes you sound like an asshole.

I'm sure that's not what you meant, but that's how it sounds. Calling something what it is doesn't require choosing the worst and most judgemental possible word. There are lots of words for people who have sex for money, you know... many of which sound quite nice.

A whore is someone who's sexual services are for sale to anyone. (and yes, it's a very derogatory term)

Some Porn performers MAY do that on the side, but their job when doing porn isn't to just have sex with anyone... their job is to look good while having sex.. while providing a performance for others.

Calling someone a "whore" is a rather judgemental word, too.

But hey.. everyone's gotta lok down on someone, right?

I personally look down on people who love to call other people names.

I know there are those that don't care for Jeff Stryker, and he's been called everything in the book......but this guy is in a class by himself.
Business man, actor, writer,singer, etc.. He's a single parent. He supports himself and son (and I think quite well) on JEFF STRYKER and Jeff Stryker products. He's a real nice guy, but don't cross him.
