  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Why are postal carriers so Danm LAZY!!!

1. The USPS is a perfect example of a rock solid union operation. There are great postal workers amidst the bad ones, but God help you trying to remove a bad one.

It's all down to the postman/woman. If you got someone with a lazy attitude, then you're gonna get sloppy service.

HERE'S YOU SOMETHING:

My dad WORKED for the post office. (note: Past tense) He has a family of two kids and a wife to take care of. He made prob. $30 hr. with government benefits and health insurance for him and his wife.

Then he found the internet. He sat/SITS in front of it all day playing. He got fired from his job after not showing up for a year and a half.

So, yes it is true about getting a lazy person and getting a sloppy job.

Second, the whole union thing is kind of true. If you are a deserter and a jackass, you can get fired. Although, the union has been fighting for a year and a half trying to get his job back. (Obviously, it's not going to happen).

Sorry about the rant, but I haven't told anyone because I am embarrassed that my dad got fired from a $75,000 a year job so he can play on the internet.

For the most part, the post office is not that bad. They do have great pay and benefits! For the service......well....... I love the crushed boxes, magazines, open dvds, and opened letters I receive. :grrr:
