Why are the young more romantic?

Why is everyone double spacing? I'm reading everyone's posts like they are poems.

Guess the thread should read "Why are the young more romanticS?" (Which I don't think is proper English.... so sorry.... )

I don't think there's any difference between a young guy being romantic, and an old/older guy being romantic.
You either are, or you aren't. Age has nothing to do with it.

From my somehow limited knowledge of the English language, and all its pitfalls, I'm deducing the "difference " you're aiming at is that young guys are more "Romantics" (= seeing the rest of their lives through rose-coloured glasses) than older guys who have seen it all, and have sort of "signed off" from being a "Romantic"?

Jeez! I súre hope yóu can make any sense of this! It's difficult enough to compose a reply in my ówn language, let alone in one not my own!:-)
