Because once again I brought my work home with me, and have been pouring over 4th quarter earnings that have been released. At my current rate, I'll be doing this all weekend (including Monday which I have "off" do to the markets being closed). In addition to wasting time here on JUB, I've been dealing with Jason, my BF, yelling at me to come to bed every so often when he wakes up and realizes that I lied to him and didn't go to bed "in 5 minutes."

One thing is for sure, Wall Street sure as hell isn't as glamorous as most think. Then again I don't even work on Wall Street since none of the banks are on Wall Street anymore. Maybe I should say Lower Manhattan isn't as glamorous as most think, lqtm.

Just keep thinking bonus, just keep think bonus, and maybe redbull...

I live right next to a highway... it's really creepy how quiet it is right now.

even my refrigerator doesn't seem to be making noise.

Growing up in semi-rural Massachusetts and now living in Midtown Manhattan, I honestly kind of miss that quietness sometimes. It is eerie at first, but after while it's really relaxing IMO. What I miss the most is being able to fall asleep to the sound of nothing but rain, now it's always mixed in with the sounds of the city, which kind of ruins it.

the guy who covers our Friday night/Saturday morning overnight shift was in a car accident today he's ok, but he's too doped up on pain killers to work, so my boss called me at 11 pm (after I'd already been up all day) to beg me to cover the overnight shift tonight. I took a quick name (12 am - 2 am) and now I'm on shift for another 4.5 hours.

I'm already 2 cups of coffee and 3 hulu shows in and I'm starting to feel the fatigue

Because I have and have had insomnia for as long as I can remember. Actually this is day 3 with no sleep. I usually go 2 to 3 days with no sleep and then I crash and burn for about 24 hours. Not a good way to live I will assure you. It's like being a meth head....only without the meth.

It's 7:50PM...and I will be going to bed in 30 minutes, because I have to be up at 5AM in the morning!!!! On a Sunday!!!! I hate the morning shift at work (7AM). I am not a morning person.....I will be up, but my heart won't start beating till about Noon.......
