  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Why aren´t you a JUB Supporter yet?

I dunno where you got number 1 from though. Credit Cards are MASSIVE business in Europe. Thousands of Billions of pounds worth of industry in Credit and Store Cards.

nothing compared to the US. in the US you basically don't exist if you don't have a credit card ;) here .. nobody cares. i don't remember the need for one, ever.

me + credit card = disaster

I gave mine up 25 years ago, and the only times I've had regrets it's just been the old Impulse Buyer in me kicking in.

I'm the guy who went to HMV to buy a cd and came out with US$500 of goodies. And that was with cash - it would have been much worse if I'd had a card.

How to pay for things over the internet? I've looked at Paypal - too many horror stories. There is a kind of cash card in the UK and US that only lets you spend what you've previously put on it, but it seems not to be available in Asia.

I don't pay for anything on my credit card.

If, in the future, it is possible to pay using Switch or Maestro, I'll consider it.

Cuz i'm a cheap skank regarding to the internet.

I like to have much for free online, but some other Jubber insist on him paying to upgrading my account, but i couldn't accept that. I'm horrible in receiving gifts. So i'm not that cheap after all.

Receiving gifts is really hard for me also.

But my partner gently pointed out to me once, that I have no right, to deny others
the joy of giving..

Frankly because right now I'm unemployed after months of looking and even when I was employed there are and were more important things that money had to go to.
Perhaps some day I'll be able to but not right now. I don't even know what I'm mising not being a supporter.I'm quite happy being able to converse through posting here. It's fulfilling being able to seek advice, give advice, share the good and the bad with people from all over the world not just the States or North America but the World. That's pretty amazing.

I wasn't a supporter until I saw how much fun I had here, and all the useful support people were getting by coming here. I felt it was a good decision to support JUB, so I paid my dues.

My throughts exactly. I became a supporter about a month ago. I want to help keep JUB going.
