On-Topic Why Democrats Are So Scared of Benghazi

My representatives and me are on the same page--that's why I live in a normal, rational thinking blue state---this was another terrorist tragedy in a home in the middle of a terrorist state---with gangs of terrorists living a few city blocks away---not a historically catastrophic attack that happened in my homeland several blocks from where I live---with a whole group of republican morons in charge of homeland security. You don't have to be a genius to understand the difference.

I think you are scared about what the investigation will find out.

There was an official investigation into 9/11 --- where you also against that?

Lol--they will find what nothing---but will invent something that's what the hypocrite anti-amercian gop are good for---official investigation of 9/11? Plenty of experts say it could of been prevented and gop morons like bush, rice, cheney were asleep at the switch--but once again--believe me if President Gore had been in charge and this happened---there were have been impeachment hearings while the smoke was still billowing from the site---the anti-american gop would not have got behind him in this time of horrible tragedy---but the dems got behind bush---dems always try to do the right thing when it comes to this country--gop--not so much. That's my original point--how can you win against such aggressive power seeking gop savagery? That's why I live in a progressive city that people look to come to from all over the world--not dumb fuck usa.:p

This is so giggle-worthy...

Seriously, Jack, WHAT do you think they will find out? That Obama ordered the attacks? That Hilary was sleeping with the terrorists? That they had cut the ambassador's tires, so he'd be stuck and get killed? WHAT do you think an investigation will find?

Do you not see how comic this whole thing is?

Democrats are not scared of Benghazi. They don't even think of it anymore. Nobody does. This situation is like a little kid throwing a tantrum about not getting another Twix in the kitchen, while mom is drinking coffee with her friends in the living room...

It's a shame you don't have an open mind regarding this.

The questions provided in the article as sensible and realistic -- and all focus on the topic.

An open mind?

If we'd spent as much time and political footdragging over each and every single lethal embassy attack under Bush as you guys have about Benghazi, we'd still be discussing them.

This is, and has been from the beginning, fabricated controversy.

On the right an "open mind" means grasping at any fantasy that justifies misogyny and racism.

Nailed it.

It deserves to be larger.

The questions provided in the article as sensible and realistic -- and all focus on the topic.

Your own bullet points include a number of declarative statements, but only one interrogatory statement. I offered two links to help answer that question. O:)

There are an additional 16 interrogatory statements in the linked article; however some of them seem foolish and imaginative – and therefore somewhat unfocused.

At any rate, what answer (or fact) do you think is most likely to end the fear Ron Christie presumes Democrats feel toward Benghazi?

The Obama Administration has done the foot dragging. This would have been over or not even be a discussion if the Administration had be honest and not tried to blame the cause of the attack on a dumb video.

Please remove this post because it is against the OP of this thread and since it makes fun of 4 dead Americans.

BENGHAZI!11!!

JB -- you're always coming across as all high-and-mighty, yet you think it's funny to make light of 4 dead Americans.

Did you laugh at your grandfather's funeral. From your response I think you probably did.

Glad you're not my friend.

To end the fear of the democrats republicans would have to completely forget about Benghazi and consider it a phony scandal like the President does.

I'm sure most republicans stood behind Nixon in Watergate, only when Sen. Howard Baker (r) started asking questions did the tide turn against Nixon.

Yesterday, there were several democrats who voted for the Special Select Committee. Will one of them be the new Howard Baker? I don't know.

I'm not sure what points you see as silly -- I think all are valid and sincere questions that deserve answers -- the sooner the better. Delay in addressing Benghazi only divides us more.

No, seriously, I want an example from Jack of ONE specific possible thing that Dems might be afraid an investigation could uncover.. Just one!

That their President did nothing to rescue the Americans who were fighting for their lives.

Do you honestly believe that there's some enormous smoking gun, that we all know there's a big smoking gun, and we're just denying it out of fear of political fallout?

Seriously?

Seriously?

There are enough unanswered questions to expect a smoking gun. We already know that the Administration lied about the cause of the attack ... a dumb video had nothing to do with it and yet they kept pushing that point for several weeks.

Or, for that matter, the huge lethal embassy attacks in 1998 under Bill Clinton, a Democrat.

They were, instead, too busy with the Monica Lewinsky bullshit.

Part of the difference, I feel, is that many of these people absolutely hate that a Black, not a White, guy is in the Oval Office.
