Why did you join JUB?

Was doing a internet search of gay related galleries and this was one of the top displays. Although I didn't officially join until what is it a day in a half ago, I've always checked the site out for the galleries and such I just didn't feel the need to actually register. I must say though its really nice being here with other members/supporters of the LGBT community, which is probably why I think I'll be around for a while.

stumbled across this site by accident and to top it off, this was around the time i wanted to interact with more gay guys so i registered. surprisingly, this turned out better than i expected it to be. thought i was only going to post here once or twice then disappear.

My court ordered psychiatrist recommended me this site years ago. He said that I would fit in with like minded people here and that I treat it as an anonymous support group. But that kinda backfired when I started developing more fucked up views on life than I did before joining.

The first day I found this site I spent reading a LONG thread in the Coming Out/Relationships forum by a JUBber named LostVegas who was in love with his best friend who then left town. Anyway on that same day I joined up with the ONLY intention (at the time) of posting a message of support to him. That was going to be it. But then I started reading. Then I made a thread (my first) in Coming Out/Relationships forum myself. And the rest, as they say, is history.

When I got computer searching for information on gay sites and came on JUB. Have been fan for few years and enjoy the wide variety of interest for gay men and the LGBT community. Have met number of guys who share my similar interest. Enjoy all that JUB has to offer and glad to have found the site.

I've been a member, under different names (3), since 2006? so I can honestly say I don't remember.

Originally, I came to Linkmeallover.ca for the porn pics. That wasn't a member site. At some point they changed the name to JustUsBoys and then added a message board. Somewhere in there I joined. I don't know why. Probably to look at porn in threads.

There have been some awesome members on here back in the day. Still some around and some great newbies but those early days were so adventurous and exciting.

Google searching a porn star I was obsessed with in 2008 kept bringing me to threads on this site. I did a lot of late night reading of posts and threads and joined after much research to be sure I was not overstepping any boundaries by being a female on a gay porn message board. My research was flawed, but I've spent so much time here I don't know how to not keep coming back.

And straight too... do have gay friends IRL?
A female colleague of mine, who I believe don't know any other gay guys than me and a couple other colleagues is very intrigued by gay people, a few days ago she found out about all the labels/categories we have (bears, musclebears, jocks, twinks, chasers etc) and stuff like the hanky codes ... everytime we discuss these subjects, or when we took her to a gay bar where there's a shower show, her eyes sparkle and she giggles like a little girl, that's so cute..
I think she is a little prudish and wonder if this interest and discussions we have is some sort of proxy way to liberate herself in the sex department...

Gosh I hope she doesn't read this, I actually mentioned JUB to her and the other colleagues at lunch today... time to remove all my nasty pics I guess

By chance, actually. My husband had passed away and before that time I had not been to any gay sites. I was a f**king mess and searched for gay grieving sites and JUB showed up. I didn't even know it was a porn site because the search took me directly to the forums section. I started reading and joined that same day. My first gay site.

To expound further on how I came to be here. Talking about sex and constant sexual innuendo used to piss me off to no end. I am not sure exactly what changed but in the couple months leading up to signing up to JUB I had been exploring the wonder of porn on the internet. It started with hetero porn and I had truly believed I would never want to watch two men enjoy each other sexually. Wrong. Big time wrong. Once I found the beauty of gay porn I was done for. My friends who were aware of how "freaked out" I was about sex in general reacted in different phases of acceptance when I "came out" about my time here and finding that gay porn interests me. Most accepted it fully pretty quickly. Those that could not are no longer in my life (but not because I like gay porn).

That is quite interesting... really interesting actually... maybe I could show my colleague some gay porn and see if it works for her...lol
Did it influence the way you make love to your partner?
I admit I'm really turned on by str8 sex (although 100%gay) and it influences how I fuck (a bad way I think)

I was a regular visitor to LinkMeAllOver.ca (LMAO) which was a website with links to free gay porn websites and reported broken links to Peter (I think that was his name) all the time. I was saddened when it was sold and waited a few months before signing up as a member in 2003.

Still miss LMAO, though.
