More important is why do some of the models GET fucked by Jake Cruise?
Although the answer to that is probably coz they can't get it up to fuck HIM, coz another company would have more than him.

Coz:

But, as for bareback sex and bareback porn- I suppose it's if they can feel something on some level towards their partner or for the right amount of money or if they know their partner well enough (and blah, blah, blah).....

Indeed, this is very true. However, I'd like to add onto that thought. What many people fail to understand is that HIV takes time to become detected. HIV tests look for the antibodies that your body creates to fight the disease. It is possible to be HIV+ and still not have enough antibodies to be detectable. According to the CDC:

"It can take some time for the immune system to produce enough antibodies for the antibody test to detect, and this time period can vary from person to person. This time period is commonly referred to as the “window period.” Most people will develop detectable antibodies within 2 to 8 weeks (the average is 25 days). Even so, there is a chance that some individuals will take longer to develop detectable antibodies."

Therefore, the only true way to be 100% safe if you are barebacking is if you are in a managomous partnership and both partners have tested HIV- on multiple tests over the course of at least 4 months. Since no porn actor is going to fall into the above category, there is NO way for barebacking to be safe. (Even two HIV+ performers can have problems if they have two different strains of HIV.)

Bareback porn is despicable, as far as I'm concerned. As a gay porn site owner, I refuse to do business with any company that promotes barebacking. That decision has, undoubtedly, cost me money. However, I'd rather be able to sleep at night.

Most Sites pay their models on a sliding scale for what they do usually and average of less than 3000 dollars however Jake Cruise pays far more than that to have fun with the guys he likes. He even paid Zeb Atlas 10,000 so I guess that makes Jake Cruise in my opinion nothing more than a high paying "John" and the pornstars he works with his "Tricks" which is how I humbly see it.

The reason these models and companies continue to produce bareback videos is because people continue to watch/purchase them. I refuse to be a part of that cycle.

Here at JUB, the members successfully lobbied the site owners to include an advisory against engaging in bareback sex on galleries that show that. I'd like to see JUB not endorse any such risky behavior by allowing any ads from those companies, but I realize that's a business decision for JD and Seth alone to make.
