Why do gays like to rip other gays to shreds?

Oh, Swelly. I'm so proud to be virtually gay-married to you.

One thing that I have to wonder about: How much of the so-called bitchery that people are discussing here is actually playful banter, not unlike the kind that Travis and I exchanged earlier in this thread? A lot of people can't seem to tell the difference between bitching for real-real and bitching for play-play.

Simple. If it involves other people, it must be silly banter. If it involves me, then someone is about to die.

^That's kind of a fucked story. IMO it would end better if he beat the shit out if you in return and never talked to you sgain.

It was the early 90s and I was in very rural backwoods area, and didn't know any better. Having been molested by a guy only up until about 18 months before this also played a factor in my going ape shit. Then when he showed up at my house the next morning to walk to school together like we always did, I apologized and I told him while I wasn't interested in him I'd never let anything bad happen to him as long as I was around. Many years later when he was actually gay bashed I remember feeling so terrible and wanting to go something but I couldn't because I was stuck working as a detentions officer that night, and it happened just 2 blocks away from our office. The sad thing is that even though he knows without a doubt who did it to him, he wouldn't give us their name because he knew if he did that there would be a next time and it would be even worse.

It was really funny when we got in high school though. I'd teach him how to change a flat tire, he would highlight my hair for me. The stuff we made in home ec always got us A's although he abandoned me when it came to sewing because he knew I couldn't sew to save my life. Then he wanted someone in Interior Design that was male so I had to take that, and I wanted someone in Advanced Horticulture that didn't get boring after 5 seconds, (aka the school's nursery) so he had to take that. I think the only time we didn't trade classes for one another was World Literature because I was kinda interested in it and he was already in it.

I noticed that gays rip on one another much more than straights (men or women).
Bullshit thread, women (straight and lesbian) do that a lot too in a bitchy sense, whereas straight men do that in a sarcastic way.

Oh look! Sweeping generalizations are both sweeping and generalizing.

These thread would have been more aptly titled had it been called "Why do humans rip other humans to shreds". Come on now, gays are no worse than than straight men, straight women or lesbians. Growing a spine might help though. ..|
