A news story I was reading: infection takes place when tiny particles of contaminated faeces enter the mouth.
This can happen through sexual contact such as rimming, by getting infected faeces on your fingers and then touching your mouth The bugs are antibiotic resistant.
I think it is a dirty habit which is totally unnecessary&unhygienic

My bf just shot down all hopes of me getting rimmed after reading what I assume is an article about the same outbreak you're talking about. If you're speaking generally, there is a current outbreak of something-or-other spread by rimming.
