I've always wondered why men cheat on their loved ones. I've never been cheated on... (that I know of.) But just the thought of a cheater makes me sick to my stomach and I could never feel sympathy for such a pathetic person. Can anyone explain why men cheat? Or even why they just stop loving their partner?

cheating means u have committed to someone - it's specific - and then u stray

i couldn't do it - catholic guilt ;)

i have been tempted - so tempted

but it's not worth it - for me

I don't buy the "men need sex" excuse. Hello? You won't die if you don't have sex.

I think it's just a social thing. Men are allowed to be dogs...And yes men are biologically hornier than women but it doesn't mean we need sex, that's just a lame excuse to get away with it.
 
What I don't get is why the stay with someone and cheat on them anyways... At least have some courtesy and break up with them. It would hurt them a lot less then when they find out your cheating.
 
You may cheat because you're comfortable in your current relationship but someone else excites you more. You don't want to give up what you have in your current relationship, but you don't feel the spark you used to.

It may also be that you feel that you can't leave your current bad relationship, so you cheat with someone who isn't like your current guy.

Those are just two possible reasons.
 
I hate people these days... They have a boyfriend who loves them with all their heart but as soon as they see someone else checking them out they think they can get with any man they please and get away with it. I feel so bad for people who get cheated on for having such assholes for boyfriends.
 
Men need sex. However men can get sex without cheating.

Men cheat when they lack the balls to fix problems in their relationships or to demand honesty in their relationships as to what they need and what they have to offer.
 
A lot of times, people cheat on their partner when they lose respect for each other.
