Why do they want to gamble to lose everything, not just money?

I was reading about the high rate of HIV and other STD infection in gay men. PREP tablets are available but
still some people only take them for few days instead of weeks.
Funny, some men use condom and yet they do rimming, swallowing and poking their finger into the butthole and lick it. They do all unhygienic things. They gamble everything for what?

...They gamble everything for what?

They do it for a thrill and Pure American Competitiveness.

There was pugnacious guy here (who had to be banned twice) because he bragged that any sex act we could think of he would claimed that he did more of it with more and more victims.

I have the same question for people who drive and text at the same time.....

It ha nothing to do with competitiveness, American or otherwise. Nor did that individual (unnamed) you recalled. As I said in an above post its all about stupidity, which abounds in EVERY nation and culture prolifically.

Last week I watched a very enlightening movie called, "The Gift." it is a documentary about the epidemic of HIV transmission in today's society (and not just the LGBT community). I have a number of friends who are poz and I barely dodged the bullet a few years back. Everyone has their own story but what still amazes me are the ones who chase it. People don't get that, even though there are medicines to control the disease, it is still a serious and chronic disease that extends your life, but not for everyone. I have a few good friends who are suffering from HIV and it breaks my heart. It's not the party they thought it would be.
