Well we know one thing for sure and that is that the truth has been murdered repeatedly in this thread.

I grew up in a small, rural town and there was a man who lived in this old run down house that my older brother warned me about as a child and and teenage. All kids knew to avoid it when trick or treating on Halloween. It wasn't until I was about 14 or 15 that my brother told me the story. The man who lived there had been in prison, maybe more than once, for violent crimes against other men and boys. According to my brother, he and another guy castrated a man with their teeth. Being a country boy, he didn't need to explain castration to me, but I could not fully understand how something like that could occur. There were rumors that he might have been responsible for the disappearance of two other males, but it's difficult to know what is urban legend and what is truth, since stories often get embellished over time. All I know is this man was rarely out during the day time, except to occasionally see him at the Red Owl grocery story and one time I recall seeing him at a funeral. He was creepy and leered at others. I remember thinking how out of place he looked in church, not to mention the daylight. He was often seen driving his car slowly around town after dark. He grabbed my shoulder one night when I was walking down his street. He just seemed to step out of the darkness behind me. I have never, before or since, wished someone dead.
He was somehow related to another man in town who was a known pervert, too. That family had lots of degenerates in it. I suspect there was some inbreeding going on there.
Was this man a serial killer? Who knows how much about him is truth and how much is myth, but he was an evil man. Small towns are notorious for keeping secrets. What puzzles me to this day is why men like my father, his brother and their friends did not "take care of" a man like this. Maybe because he had never done anything to them or their families. I never told my Dad that this man touched me. I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't want his death on my hands, even though I wished him dead.

I do believe we will never know the evil in our world that hides in the darkness. We probably cross paths with evil doers on a fairly regular basis without knowing it. Only the shadow knows.

Tomorrow, this man goes on trial for the killing of a young father near Hamilton Ontario.

Later he will will go on trial for the killing of his own father and of his former girlfriend.

My business brought me into contact with Dellen Millard several years ago....after I phoned to speak to his father about the new hangar they had recently built at Waterloo Airport.

When I asked for Mr. Millard, I was put through to him....and when I asked if he was Mr. Wayne Millard...he just bluntly said...."He's dead"....and then just left dead air space. I did recover and expressed my condolences which he just brushed away. I had called shortly after Mr. Millard senior had been found with a bullet through his eye...an apparent suicide.....

When I had finished the call, I was actually shaking...and told the guys in my office that I had never felt as chilled by the response of a child to the death of a parent and to the rest of the conversation as from that call....It stayed with me for months.

Then one day, there was the story of the disappearance of Tim Bosma, who was selling a truck.

And then a few days later the news that Dellen Millard was being charged.

And then shortly after that, that the death of his father was no longer considered suicide and he was being charged in that murder as well.

And then that he was being charged in the death of Laura Babcock.

It is believed that like Bosma, her body was incinerated on his farm in this unit.

So today the news has been full of his upcoming trial and that afternoon call has come back to me as though it was only moments ago. I remember the sound of his voice, the flat affect in talking about his father's death...........

I wonder if it is like that with every serial killer.

All I can say is thank goodness that he was arrogant and stupid enough to get caught before he killed anyone else.

He is apparently as delusional and sociopathic as any of the other serial killers in jail who write purple prose letters to the outside.

I will be following his trials with great interest....to figure out why another reasonably intelligent, rich, well educated guy sunk to this level of depravity.

In my opinion, I am drawn to the darker side of entertainment. I have always been attracted to the horror genre. Dark subject matter, like serial killers, is incredibly enticing. I find female serial killers to be the most interesting. I remember when the movie “Monster” came out, a lot of news outlets had dubbed Aileen Wuornos as “America’s first female serial killer”. Of course that was not the case as there have been many female serial killers in the United States before Wuornos. Tillie Gburek, Jane Toppan and Clementine Barnabet have genuinely been overlooked by mainstream media, but these ladies are incredibly fascinating to read about.

I’ve linked Rob Dyke’s Youtube Channel. He devotes a majority of his videos to serial killers and many other dark topics! The video is about Leonarda Cianciulli – a serial killer that was known to make her victims into soap and cookies – Have a great Afternoon!!!
