  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

why do you suppose it is

Action speaks louder than words. As long as his cock is in my mouth and mine in his, that's all that matters, really.

If he's not interested in playing with me, I couldn't care less if he's a Martian.

ditto ---

If they admit to being some kind of "bi" - then that pretty much makes them gay (in their mind) -- they can't rationalize it enough to be okay with actually liking boys and girls !!

Actually for me it is the opposite. I have no problem with myself but I get tired of saying I'm bi and people respond with, oh you're gay. I then explain that I like both guys and girls and then I get the, there's no need to hide, pretend, it's ok if you're gay. Then after a lot of ](*,) I usually just switch topics. Then when I express interest in a woman I get the, but wait I thought you were gay/liked guys and the ](*,) starts all over again. So that's the reason I usually don't say anything about it or label myself at all.

It must feel so weird to be attracted to both sexes, especially during the puberty phase.

Actually it was weird when I found out that everyone else wasn't. I never had a hang up on gender growing up and I am way more concerned with personality than gender now.

I think people might like to exaggerate how many closeted bisexual men there are out there, but overall I'd say it's for the same reasons that gay men are in the closet. And because when you're bisexual you can choose which gender you want to be with.

Social pressures and religion. In this part of the country, anything associated to being gay is frowned upon. Most people around here still thinks sexual orientation is a choice.

Oh please, give it a rest. I assume that by "this part of the country" you mean the south, right? I live one state up from you, and it's not as bad as some like to paint it. Never once have I had someone take issue with my sexuality and I have plenty of gay, bisexual, and lesbian friends that are completely out "in this part of the country" that don't get assaulted by the Baptists.

I never assume a man is bi..unless he tells me he is...or if he is touching me in a sexual manner.

the same argument could be applied to gay people too. in fact, i think more gay guys are afraid to admit to being bi than straight guys do.
