Not like it's the first time it's happened and I made it a point to say I have nothing against him personally. He makes a lot of attention seeking threads and always points out his orientation so I was curious to see what other people thought of his sincerity. :)

"Straight", and yup. Also because he has a lot of sexually suggestive posts/threads. Not that it's a bad thing, but all of that is a little suspicious that a supposed straight guy would want so much of that attention from gay guys.

Really? In my opinion, you fellas cut yourselves and this forum short. You aren't one dimensional people. Your sexuality is only a sliver of who you are. JUB is also not one dimensional, there are plenty of sections which focus on everything BUT sexuality. So, you really can't imagine a situation where someone typed a celebrity name, a political issue, a movie, etc. into google and was directed to JUB? Yep, it's a porn forum and it's a GAY porn forum. That's clear. Maybe they didn't notice that part (hey, I'm a habitual clicker. No patience and I don't read those descriptions) and went ahead and read the article and posts. Then, they ventured further and discovered all the cool sections w/in JUB and enjoyed the "conversations." Maybe they did notice that it's a gay forum but couldn't find one that compared to JUB.

In my opinion, the draw is (1) the user friendly interface of JUB; (2) the different forum topics we have to post in; and, (3) the JUBBERS themselves.

First, this is the easiest forum to use in my opinion. It's well organized, it's clear where your post should go, it's easy to post, it's easy to sign up. There aren't too many bells and whistles. There are plenty of mods who you can contact if ya need help. Easy peasy.

Second, this is the only forum I've found that had a discussion section for Current Events and Politics, Religion, Technology, etc. It's amazing what you can learn from these sections alone. JUB is such a breath of fresh air. Different people w/ different opinions--expressed in a reasonable manner. I love it! Plus, the tech section is a life saver. I've sent many a straight man to JUB when they've had a computer issue. Corny et al. give outstanding advice--anyone can appreciate this.

Third, JUBBERS themselves are a huge draw to the forum. We are all so very different. Different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, genders, morals, political beliefs, socio-economic classes, etc. These differences add excitement and it's something that you can't get on every other forum. Also, we don't have a whole lot of assholes/trolls. For the most part, we're all just here for fun, to engage in discussion. That certainly makes JUB more desirable.

And you know, some straight fellas follow their women here. I've laughed about JUB and mentioned JUB to Jason. And he's looked over my shoulder to see what I'm typing or reading. After hearing about it from me time and time again, he decided to check it out. He enjoys reading the CEandP section. Why doesn't he sign up and join in? Well, I've spared him from the whole, "you're really a gay dude," argument.

I can definitely see why ANYONE would enjoy being a member of JUB.
 
Except for his smoking, I think Mr. Barbey is cool. He is from a part of the country (Greenville, SC) that is not particularly gay friendly. I am glad that he posts here, but I have often wondered about his motivation.

I perhaps don't expect much honesty from most people, particularly rather anonymous keystrokes on an internet forum, but I'm almost always willing to take people at their word. if mr. barbey started sucking my dick, i might begin to question his sexual orientation, but i wouldn't presume to question his right to decide what to call himself.

First of all, you're a girl. Not a guy who gets a thrill sexually teasing gay guys. Second, the amount of straight male posters on this forum is probably not even in the double digits. I do believe some are legitimately here for discussion alone but I don't think that's the case with B Boy.

I might also point out that Mr. B comes here becuase it requires no intellectual challenge for him to participate in most discussions.

When you're not the brightest bulb in the string, you use the 'talents' you've got to validate yourself.

In this case, he's smart enough to know that he can 'roll' the homos who think that they're sucking off a str8 hustler, without ever having to admit he's gay as a parade himself.
