Why Does America HATE the Republican Party?

After the current GOP raped us up the ass (gay, straight, male, female) for 8 years, I can understand why many don't think so highly of their party.
 
I hope this situation soon reverses. I am very uncomfortable being in the majority.
 
Maybe it's because the Republican Party is so hateful itself. They seem to always resort to scapegoating or demonizing some group -- blacks, gays, immigrants, muslims etc. That and their embarrassingly disastrous foreign policy of the past eight years.
 
i dont think America hates the Republican party I think they have their own thoughts and its because of this great country the U.S.A. that they can have those thoughts, the majority of the citizens then use their right to vote for what seems to be the most common with them. America Rocks! We should all love each other and stop all the hatred and name calling. Some people have such a small mind that they dont know theyre discriminating against us because their thoughts, feelings dont want to admit that we are a society, a minority but America is the best place in the world thats why everyone wants to come here....
