Why does America keep losing wars?

As much as I hate to say it, America has never LOST a war. We use our own service men/women to further the agenda at hand. We are moving closer and closer to a world dominated by ONE government. A world in which all powers are subject to American rule and influence. Most third world countries are already at our bidding, we set up puppet governments that we control at leisure, and we grow closer and closer to tying the economic fate of the world with our whim. America is NOT stupid, there is a bigger plan afoot. Watch Star Trek sometime, the "world federation" headquarters is based out of California, I think it's LA, that is what we as a nation are working towards. Then again, I hate to say it, but I also believe that 9-11 was orchestrated by our own to bring about the start as such.

I totally disagree with you on this subject. I see possible 2 world governments in the future and the United States doesn't headline either of them.

1. The European Union have continued to expand seemingly growing with more member countries with each passing year. They already have the most stable currency in the world. It will only grow stronger as the U.S. continues to do everything possible to damage itself economically.

2. China is poised for Asian domination. Again they are such an economic power however due to their system of government, they don't have much so show for it. However, a 1 million man standing army is a good place to start looking at reasons why they may one day dominate the world. If China ever sets its sight on world domination they will most assured be a force to be reckoned with.

I think the United States got whupped in the war of 1812, too. Good news though, the U.S. won the civil war.

The "war" in Iraq is not really a war. At least not in the same sense as past wars america has been involved in. We are not fighting Iraq, we're fighting an unidentifiable group of "rebels" that happen to be in Iraq. And the only reason they are rebelling is because they simply don't want us there to begin with.

Bush went looking for WMD in Iraq, didn't find any, got embarrassed, then decided to extend his "war" on terrorists to Iraq.

Notice how this war does not have a clear stated mission and goal. Bush only says we will stay in Iraq till the job is finished. But he doesn't say what the job is. Some think the mission is to make Iraq a democracy - but that's hardly a reason to invade a country and completely disrupt their way of life. We can't invade another country and impose our democratic ways on them when half of their population don't want it.

America defeated Iraq in like two weeks. It's guerilla forces we've been fighting since then, and it's documented in history that even the strongest of nations have trouble when involved in guerilla like conflicts. That's actually how the American forces managed to defeat the British in the American Revolution. Britain was obviously stronger, but there's only so much you can do when you're in a foreign land and everyone from soldiers to civilians are aiming guns at you.

I wouldn't say America is "losing" in Iraq. I'd say it's just at a stalemate. If anything, we've already succeeded in establishing a democracy there, as unstable as it may be. But the time it takes for it to reach an acceptable level of stability could take decades. You can't just create democracies out of tyranny in a matter of months, and the Bush administration was stupid for thinking that. There are always going to be rebels and guerilla fighters, and the ones over there have the capabilities of doing massive amounts of damage.

The idea of this organization is to assure American social and economic superiority and hegemony over the rest of the world, and to destroy any other power, by any means necessary, if they DARE to want to compete against us.

I think the main problem is really just the way the United State Military is set up.

I mean, if our purpose in Iraq was to eradicate them from the face of the earth, our military is definitely the finest in the world for that purpose.

As a peacekeeping force, our military is not terribly well equipped or trained for the situation.
