Hello guys,
The question i am going to put down on this threat is a real one. But before putting it through I have to tell you 1st that i am 61 and i am married to a woman since 25 years when i took my responsability when she became pregnant.
BUT I could have, at that time, just as well turn out with a man.
Here is the question which is still relevant today :
When i say to a gay or a str8 guy that I am BI he simply dont beleive its possible. Eitheir you are str8 eitheir you are gay.
So i answer him that i like very much both because its not at all the same way of making love and having pleasure with a man or a woman. The feeling is not at all the same. Being a man i already know what to do to another man to make him groaning, having a hard on etc ... because myself love when another man does me those things.
With a woman the erotics zones are not the same of course but once again when you found them its really exciting and when she found your excitng zones then its a real turn over.
I am not more in one side or the other i like very much both of them and even today from time to time i am going to some places where i know i'll find a man who is going to receive and give me a real good time like rimming for example.
What do you think ?

What do I think? I think that you're a 61 year old man married to a woman who knows what he feels, what he wants, what he has experienced and you know how to express it. Many people tend to think in very rigid terms:

You're are either happy or sad, you're funny or not funny, you're nice or mean, you're cool or not cool, you're gay or straight, etc. It's a very binary form of thinking which says more about your friends and their personalities than it does about you.

Those follks have a very rigid way of thinking. It absolutely is possible to achieve as much enjoyment and satisfaction and to be equally attracted to males and females. And there are a lot of us! Thankfully, the younger generation seems to more accepting of this.

Explain the Bell Curve to them... 100% straight to 100% gay and everything in between to varying degrees.

I really do hope the younger generation is more open to the BI.
Another thing i want to tell them is that being BI has also another big advantage.
This advantage is that when you are going out to have a date you have twice as much chances as a BI to have somebody in your bed than if you are only gay or str8.

[In general]
Straight people don't understand being gay while gay people are incapable of being straight. It makes sense for a person in the middle to be misunderstood as well.

There's a range of beliefs regarding sexuality as you obviously discovered. Young people commonly think they've discovered something new regarding sexuality. I know my generation thought that, too.

People have had bisexual sex since the beginning of time. I think most of those had come to the conclusion that committing to a person of one sex, while sneaking around with the other can cause great stress. The fact that most cases we hear about are men married to women on the dl with men, leading a lot of people, including gay people with the belief that they are closet cases.

If sexuality is truly on a bell curve, most of us are bisexual. I'm not sure I can buy that. Even though once married to a woman, I identify as gay. Perhaps it's a reverse bell curve. Having sex with a woman didn't mean I was straight, nor did it mean that I'm bi. It meant that I allowed heterosexism to push me to marriage.

Why do we believe every gay who says he's gay, yet refuse to believe every guy who says he's straight or bi? It seems to me it ought to work both ways.

Are all bi guys really bi, or are some simply free spirits or perhaps sex addicts? It really only matters to the person in question and their loved ones. Perhaps the rest of us should just live and let live.

sorry but i have to ask this question.
Are you still having sex at the age of 61 ?

Shut up! I'm turning 65 next month. :)

"Why gay & str8 guys dont beleive I can be BI?" So what? You know who you are. Fuck them. I mean literally...fuck them

i think bisexuality exists and people who say differently are narrow-minded douches. especially if theyre saying it to a more experienced man, youd think he knows who the fuck he is at that point in his life. how clueless do you have to be to think you know better.

that being said,
i think there are a lot of confused, scared gay men out there who say theyre bisexual when they clearly arent. every now and then, one of those poor souls pops up in cor&t. i dont press the issue, because there is no way i can know for sure, im no mind reader. but there have been many times when i have written something like "you need to be honest with yourself and find out what really makes you happy, as opposed to what you think is supposed to make you happy", when i was really thinking "dude, youre gay. accept it already and everybodys better off."

61 is young !

Of course it is and i am sure than all the guys who think, because they are between 18 and let say 35, that it is old will change their mind when they'll get there and will see gladly that all the "Machinery" work still very well indeed :D

I don't know, I have a friend who claims he's bi but then again he came out to my friend as gay then quickly changed it. There's a feeling inside of me that says being bi is definitely possible, but I always go back to thinking that almost every gay person once came out as bi including me, so that gives some leverage to it maybe being fake.

I think that this is where most of the denial comes from: you claimed you were bi when you knew you were gay, therefore anyone who claims to be bi must also be gay. It's a logical fallacy but gets repeated because of personal experience. It's the same as me saying I liked broccoli, when in fact I really hated it, so I think that anyone who says they like broccoli must also hate it.
