PISS LOVER
Am I the only one that remembers how the
government of China allowed the demonstrators
at Tianimen Square to be there. They allowed it
long enough to videotape to identify he participants
then sent the troops and tanks in.
The Chinese Communist Government is probably
no different than Stalin's Soviet Union if not
worse.
Enough for now.

No you are far from the only one that remembers - every 4 June in Hong Kong many of us gather to mourn those murdered in Tiananmen Square. This year there were less than 50,000 there - but it is still something we remember (see http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/06/04/asia/hong.php).
For those of us in the wider Chinese community - the behavior of the current Chinese Government is a great source of shame - like most people we would like to feel proud of our country - but a country run by people that are essentially violent criminals is one that is hard to feel proud of.
There are some historic things that bring shame on the USA - like the slave trade and the internment of US citizens of Japanese descent in WWII - but these are in the past - while the shame and dishonour from the current Chinese Government is still with us.
China is one of the greatest and most ancient countries on earth - yet the country is run by people that disgrace and shame our heritage and bring dishonour on all of us
