Why the "Ethnic" Section

I feel like people never read what I write. Sometimes what I write is stupid and deserves to get skipped over, but not always. But I feel like people just talk over each other and don't really pay attention to what others are saying. It's making me not want to post anything, except to threads that discuss trivial things (like the one on genitalia that I started earlier today). By the way, this whole thread could be moved to the "Requests/Suggestions" board

sex lives in that reptilian part of the psyche (aka the Id, aka primordial mind) that is deeply engrained and impossible to change. the more rational parts of our minds usually keep a tight reign on its actions.

most (if not all) have learned and gained deeply implanted psychological beliefs that tell us that there are indeed differences in the races, but the more rational part of our minds tell us that those beliefs are nonsense.

so the ethnic section appeals to those whose reptilian brains who get pleasure from mixing the perceived differences in race and sex.

i get this now...you get a lot of it around here. this is political correctness run amok...the kind of p.c. behavior that says that there is no differences at all, a blatant obvious lie. i have darker skin than belamy...it's ok to point that out. it doesn't mean you're supporting the KKK. if you somehow believe, like a michael richards ranting about n***ers, that those differences mean i'm inferior, yeah, we got a problem. simply pointing the difference out tho doesn't make you a racist. i see this all the time when my grandma or one of my cousins let someone know we're related...cause they're white people often looked shocked but then pretend like they weren't. who cares...notice and celebrate it all, categorize it all you want...it doesn't make it racist. pretending differences don't exist and sweeping them under the rug...that's racism.

But pretending to be more "enlightened" by saying that "there is no difference" is plain stupid and wrong: there are differences everywhere, but making of them the source of discrimination is following a different path, and denying those differences for the sake of -supposedly- avoiding discrimination amounts in fact to following the same "wrong" direction.

do u know how big the forums wolud be if we seperated every race? it would be very long to scroll to where u wanted to view. so having all races in spot is more easier. i dont want like everyone else to scroll thru like a million white boys jsut to find the asians or latinos.

so its easier if we have it sort of blocked together as one group

But pretending to be more "enlightened" by saying that "there is not difference" is plain stupid and wrong: there are differences everywhere, but making of them the source of discrimination is following a different path, and denying those differences for the sake of -supposedly- avoiding discrimination amounts in fact to following the same "wrong" direction.

Last time I checked, nobody was being PC or claiming that everyone looked the same. This thread was about whether there is a need to split people up according to predefined racial categories (which I argue are not as clearcut or absolute as some might believe).

I hate to bitch and be politically correct but when everyone's trying to erase racism in this world, why does a "Gay" site helps to perpetuate it by having such a section? "Ethnic" means to white people ALL non-Caucasian people and no other race in this world has a word to label all other people except themselves except white people. Why do Caucasians get to be in their own group but everyone else gets lumped into one group? It's like saying "Ethnic" is an acquired taste and most people aren't into that but if you are, then go to that little section (which is way down on the page too) but if you want young hot jocks there is a section for that and 99% of them are white in that section. It's so demeaning to me.

Because every other section on the forum, including the first page is white.

How many asians or arabs or blacks or latinos are on the first page? Right... none.

So if you like guys with a little color in their skin, you have to go to the ethnic forums sadly.

I'm the author of this post and I never said that it's not OK to separate guys into categories, I think it's ok to do that because this is porn after all and we all have preferences. I just have a problem with the WAY it's separated. White guys have no category because it's assumed everyone likes white guys but if you want a Latino dude, then go to the one all-encompassing category called Ethnic where you might have to weave thru some blacks and asians before arriving that your choice of some Latins, but it's OK because Latins, Asians and Black are all the same because they are all non-white so lumping them into one category is alright. THAT'S MY PROBLEM!

Please reflect that if people cannot positively claim their biological heritage that you just leave yourself with a set of counter-problems.
Every person should be able to claim their ethnic heritage in a positive way.

And if people, especially the people who find the category derogatory or whatever, would just broaden their heads a little they'd see that there's nothing preventing anybody from posting "Sexy Polish Guys" or "Irish Hotties" or "New Zealand Guys."
