To each his own. I have never been attracted to a skinny/boney body, regardless of facial cuteness. I'm also not into "twinks" so that is probably why. Mostly it depends on the whole package but I prefer a guy with a 32-34 waistline, which is in my own size range. Much lower or higher than that and my physical interest tends to fade. That's not to say I judge people for that because I don't. It's just a physical preference. My own circle of good friends range from super skinny to quite fat but they are still my friends.
in many cases i think you are totally correct. sort of "A Rose By Any Other Name", Oscar Wilde. tis not quite the pleasant experience for the young person involved that many might think it is.

Can you still be considered a twink at the age of 20 these days? It says more about the youth obsessed gay community (and indeed the world in general) than it does about personal sexual preferences. We all like men all in all shapes and sizes, there's plenty of them to go around so there's no need to get knickers in a twist over it. Usually a twink grows up and fills out a bit more after they hit about 19 and cease to be a twink forever more anyway so it's a short lived life as a twink.
