If a guy is having sex with a gay man. Wants to have sex with a gay man. Guess what, he aint Str8. He is Bi. Thread after thread of this hot str8 guy this n that. Why the obsession with str8 men?

So my question is this.

If a man has sex with another man. Is he Gay, Bi or can he really remain str8?

If a man has sex with another man once or twice in his life, I would say he's bi curious at most. If he gets a blowjob on occasion, he's 99.9% straight. If he is pounding your brains out all night every night or he is on his back with his legs in the air getting fucked like a 2 dollar ho every time his "girlfriend" is at a friends house, then I don't think he's straight.

Why do gay guys love them so much? Because straights are so masculine and are real men and all gays are effeminate.

*Walks up to the nearest cute homo and gets his number while everybody is distracted by the straight guys*

I'm sure a lot of gay guys tried having sex with a girl when they were in middle or high school, and they're still gay. Likewise, if a straight guy experiments with a guy and doesn't like it, that doesn't make him gay. . .but if a "straight" guy regularly has sex with a guy and enjoys it, he's either gay or bi. The End.

As far as why gay guys are attracted to straight guys: I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that most gay boys grow up around a lot of masculine, straight men and begin to develop crushes on them. It leaves an impression on them; they just think a "straight acting" guy is natural and sexy.

I think it's that whole thing of guys wanting the unattainable

 Well I think it's because they are gluttons for punishment.

They can't handle being gay for whatever reason so they purposefully go after someone that isn't/won't be attracted back. Then it becomes a case of "life's not fair".

Once they've achieved "life's not fair", they lose the responsibility for their choices. The bad things that happen to them isn't caused by anything they are doing, it's the fault of these external circumstances they have no control over. Cause the heart wants what the heart wants...

Maybe.

Iv givin head to dtright guys b4. U just have 2 get them @ the right time..

And that's all well and good for describing why a teenager would, but what about a grown ass man?

Say a 37 year old?

You don't think that leaves an impression? We live in an entire SOCIETY full of straight men. The gay scene is a tiny minority.

I've said this many times before, experimentation is completely natural and fine...but it is what it is and is only for so long. People find out if something really is for them or not... it happens a few times, a person moves on. You try something, not for you, you move on. For these guys who keep engaging in it, seeking out, etc... even just having the feelings even though they may not act on them... then you are probably not straight. I don't get this whole "I may do this, may feel that... but it's only experimentation, and I'm straight, dude"... uh, no you are not, and if it is ongoing (external or internal), dude, it is beyond experimentation. Whether you act on it or not, if your feeling attraction and/or wanting and liking something of the same sex (physicality, emotion, etc.)... I'm not saying one is outright gay (because sexuality is a spectrum), but dude, you are not straight.

I think hanging onto every last ounce of heterosexuality for a lot of men, in our society and culture (with things like upbringing, family, tradition, and religion weighing in vs. what "being a real man" is vs. masculinity), is a huge deal...

 It may be tiny, but you didn't complain last night!

Again, to a young gay man sure. We see the aftermath of it here all the time. But it doesn't explain the continued obsession. Gay men aren't so few and far between, and if you add the Bi men to the ranks, I'd guesstimate at least half of the male population.

Besides which, regardless of the population sizes, there is the aspect of action. You can't get blood from a turnip.

(also, I'd like to note, that as long as orientations are self described, this is more about gender roles, and perceptions, and stereotypes)

People find out if something really is for them or not... it happens a few times, a person moves one. In the other case, someone's sexuality is perhaps more or other than what they thought. You don't get to choose how you are orientated - opposite sex, same sex, or both. You do get to choose whether you will live your truth and embrace your authentic self, or not.

You try something, not for you, you move on. If I do have any left, it's just casual lust as opposed to the possibility of anything more.

Which is cool, apparently if you
get them @ the right time..

you can...

Iv givin head to stright guys b4

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not a complete martyr for the cause. If I see a man who is attractive, gay or straight, I lust.

What I don't do is stalk, obsess, follow, take covert pictures, befriend, plot, etc....

I didn't realize how big of a deal this was until I joined JUB. Honestly, I have less interest once I know that a guy is straight. If I do have any left, it's just casual lust as opposed to the possibility of anything more.

I've never been in love with - or lusted after - a straight guy; I respect their boundaries, and now how it feels to have a straight girl hit on me, so I won't do the same to them.

A lot of sexuality is psychological, and things from our early years can leave an impression on a person. I've spoken to many men - straight, bi or gay - who have developed lifelong attractions or even fetishes based off of people or events from their childhood. Anything from being attracted to brunettes because it reminds they of a babysitter they had when they were a kid, to having a fetish for women's clothes after trying on their mom's dress.

Sexuality it a lot more complex than we initially think.

Ya, I'd really have to know what people consider sexuality. Some people think it's only the act.

But what about inter personal relationships? Where is the line drawn?

The basis for anyone's attractions are what they are, but fitting that into the frame work of a functional relationship is what I thought this discussion was about.

I think they can want to try it (and actually do it, Id say up to twice) and still be straight if they dont like it. If they do like it (even if they dont do it again) and they still like women as well, then they're Bi, if after they try it, they drop women altogether or simply announce they prefer men, then they're gay. pretty simple

Very well put.
