I'm not sure whether I agree or disagree with you, probably a bit of both, but I'd be really interested in knowing your thoughts. I don't think the writer is completely off base, but I do think that his reasoning and research are incomplete. Aren't there others factors that come into play regarding the evolution of our genitalia?

just saw a interesting show on National Geo or Discovery about this. I never gave it any thought but watching the show it was explained in a way that makes sense. Really the show was showing how woman and men walk differently, I think the shows focus was on sexual attraction and features animals look for in another when selecting a mate.

No other primates are.
Walking on 2 legs pushed the female humans sex's organs up inside. I never looked at female lower primates but I guess the females sexual organs are larger or more exposed then human females.
To ensure reproduction the male had to have a larger penis compared to Silver Back Gorilla's, chimps, orangutans', or baboons.
