I just browse manhunts and see that guys who in their 20's, a little good looking, average size dicks will think that they are god's gifts and the others are born to serve the queens. :lol: Can't stop laughing when reading these fucking ads.
 
The same reason teenagers brag about stuff in school. It covers up a basic insecurity with bluster. Plus, they're taking a cue from the advertising game - "if you say how great it is, maybe somebody will believe you."

Maybe it works for someone but for me I need more substance than just a pretty shell. Inner beauty is more important in the long term.
 
it probably has to do with the fact that with youth comes a certain amount of invincibility. Young people feel they will never age or die, it's not until they start to age that they realize they were wrong. It's amazing to me (I'm 52) how much more cautious I am about risky things I used to do with out even thinking about them.
 
I had a friend like this. His name was Ricky.

We used to say, "Ricky's too picky 'bout the dicky."

He was an attractive guy but he would mostly just stand around and pose and talk about how good he looked in this outfit or those shoes.

He insisted that anyone he dated had to go for at least six months, and make a commitment, before ever having any type of sex.

Not that there's anything wrong with that but it just ain't gonna happen in the real gay world.
