Just when you thought that Alex Jones and Infowars website was all the stupid stuff in the internet, along comes Assange and Wikileaks. Right before everyone’s favorite person Julian Assange was arrested as part of the CIA Honey Pot that has him ensnared, he did an interview with the Guardian in the UK where he says that some of the leaked cables that he has mention UFOs. Now, a European site claims to have details that these leaked cables deal with the long-rumored war that the US has been waging against UFOs that originate near the Antarctic.

According to this report, the United States went to its highest alert level on June 10, 2004 after a massive fleet of UFO’s “suddenly emerged” from the Southern Ocean and approached Guadalajara, Mexico barely 1,600 kilometers (1,000 miles) from the American border. Prior to reaching the US border, however, this massive UFO fleet is said in this report to have “dimensionally returned” to their Southern Ocean “home base”.

The vast majority of these incidents are simply either weather-related or just natural electro-magnetic effects happening in the atmosphere, similar to the aurora, or to a mirage. It easily explains why they all so often appear as 'lights' and it also explains how they always seem to come out of nowhere and 'hover' before rapidly disappearing all of a sudden.

The U.S. military has to log and report every instance that happens on record, and also go 'on alert' as a matter of standard procedure. As a result, these reports are often over-dramatised and taken to mean more than they actually do.

As for UFO's, as I often say, I find it very curious that aliens clever and advanced enough to build spaceships and travel across the stars to Earth, would then turn out to be so stupid and brainless to spend over 60 years doing nothing but flying around in our sky.

Steven Hawking said probability given what it is , that there are so many planets capable of supporting life , that there is probably intelligent life elsewhere in the universe but we should avoid making contact , I mean being discovered wasn't exactly good for the North American Indians , was it ?
 
There have been some very much unsolved sightings regarding planes, whether civilian craft or military. A number of strange occurences happened with our astronauts. Most reports can be explaned, but there are a stubborn 10% that aren't simply misreadings of natural phenomena, swamp gas, planets, weather balloons and the like.

Agreed on both points. We should avoid contact until they are advanced enough to join us in space and we better hope they dont discover us... we are a century away from space travel at a minimum. Can you imagine if those of today with today's weapons came across 19th century technology? We would devastate them. That is not to mention the possible bio hazards at all. Just man's innate need to dominate.

I'll be honest, I have serious qualms about the idea of endlessly broadcasting information about ourselves out into space via SETI precisely because of this. I don't lose sleep at night worrying about Hollywood alien invasions, but I do think contact would be relatively disastrous no matter how benevolent another intelligent race was.

I am always open to that kind of stuff because as much as we know...there is a whole hell of alot we dont' know...especially when it comes to the universe. I don't necesarily beleive or disbelieve but I keep an open mind and consider what is being said.
