I didn’t mean to make a thread about AOC running for president turn in to “centrism” vs “leftism” but all I will say about it is that I disagree with the notion it was abundantly clear. I’ll attach the ad they ran again:

I hope AOC runs for president, she has such an ability to rally working class and white collar people together fighting for the same cause, which is so rare to see. I really do think she has a bright future. What is the most interesting thing about her is that she first and foremost serves her community, so who knows if she has future political ambitions as a senator or president.
 
What about the fact that her nomination by the dems will definitely energize the entirety of the right? They will campaign and spread disinformation like never before to defeat her.

Let me make it clear that for years and years I was considered far far left - but "far left" today is quite different than far left used to be.

For one thing - the thought police thing doesn't click with me. It used to be the right that played thought police and if that is what the far left is embracing I am no longer "far left". I also dislike extremism whether it is right or left.

This. There was zero ambiguity that the 1400 was on top of the 600. I mean, $600 plus $1400 equals $2000....I think?

Maybe it has something to do with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) because he supported the $2K amount.
 
They were not clear at all, but it is nice to see that liberals are no different then Trump supporters when it comes to lies from people like Joe Biden.

What Politician will not have disinformation spread about them? People used this same excuse when it came to Bernie Sanders, he will be deemed a communist and socialist by the right which would hurt his campaign. Which is exactly what the right did to Joe Biden, they called him a Communist (Which is a huge LOL.) and it is as much as a load of crap that meant very little to anyone. That didn’t stop Joe Biden winning the Presidency.

At the end of the day, if it were to come to a Presidency run with AOC the right isn’t the only one that is going to spread misinformation or working against her. Since she is an actual Politician that has interest actually wanting to work for her constinuents, Democrats aren’t having that. Democrats only like the appearance that they’re doing that.

AOC is too far left to be Presidential material. When she gets more experience, many years from now, and matures, it is possible for her to one day be President.

I am reasonably satisfied with the job Biden is doing. He is walking a tightrope, and doing a reasonable job under the circumstances. Of course things could always be better, but I'm not going to throw hatchets at him or the Democrats. It is extremely hard to please a wide spectrum of people. No matter how hard you try, and how fair you try to be, people will always moan, bitch, and complain.
