The first LGBT Pixar movie? Is it possible?

Pixar cartoon movies are very popular.Movies like,Inside Out who was a smash hit at the box office last year,Frozen was also a big hit in 2014.Finding Dory is the sequel of Finding Nemo who was another big hit.Finding Dory comes out in theaters next week. What about a gay themed Pixar cartoon movie oriented for families?

Do you see it happening in the future? Do you think Hollywood would make a pixar movie about a little boy who feel attracted to boys? The movie would clearly talk about homosexuality, but accessible for kids.Of course the movie would be focused on talking animals, songs, some emotions,ect...Just like any other Pixar movies. For now,Pixar movies seems to be very heteronormative.Hollywood is more open about homosexuality than before. So,gay caracters in a Pixar movie should be the next step.

Gay caracters in Pixar movies could educate kids about homosexuality.Since its Pixar, the movie could be a surprise hit.People would talk about it.The movie would have a buzz. So,Pixar would make history for showing a 10 years old gay caracter who discover who he is in a touching Pixar family oriented movie. The movie could also touch the transgender issues. So,they could have a girl who would want to become a boy.It could make a interesting story. They could succeed if they would take the risk. You never know.

Will Disney Pixar movies always be heteronormative or they might eventually try the gay theme?

Yes, it will happen soon. You can't keep a capitalist away from money.

You lost me here, do you mean show 10 year old kids a character who discovers he's Gay? Or have a 10 year old character in the movie that discovers he's Gay? If it's the latter, then 10 is too young imo, it's best to make him 15, tops. But to answer your question, I doubt it. And tbh, I don't see what the point of it is.

I want to see that volcano from the start of inside out suck another volcano's dick

I don't see Disney ever doing "Finding Homosexuality", sorry.

I do think that one day Disney will make movie with a kid that has gay parents though.

Pixar, not ever in this lifetime. Pixar doesn't deal with political issues such as homosexuality. They deal with comedic nuclear family centered, predictable story lines and fantasy where everyone is happy. A young boy dealing with homosexuality is not a happy fantasy and it would be then forced to be a drama, which Pixar is not about.

Some subdivision of Disney, maybe even a Teen Drama show on the Disney Channel dealing with gay characters, possibly.

If they did, it would cause a huge uproar, just like with The Real O'Neals. Fundies will be livid!

When the dinosaurs of politics and religion die... yes!

Yes, they will.

Next question?

You do know they did Inside Out, right?

It's about a girl that had many personalities. It was still very much typical of Pixar, it didn't break any barriers.

Well.....no. I take it you didn't see the movie? It was an example of Pixar doing more than "They deal with comedic nuclear family centered, predictable story lines and fantasy where everyone is happy."

Has nothing to do with homosexuality. It's about a girl that had many personalities. It was still very much typical of Pixar, it didn't break any barriers.

Lucky is right. It was about a young girl with depression. Pixar could easily throw in a homosexuallity componet.
