Personally I say go for it. If you're curious about it and want to try fucking, getting fucked, sucking, ect, then give it a shot. Unless you think your friend is going to blow up your spot, or he has some kind of std, I doubt it's going to "ruin your life". If it turns out you really like it and think you might be gay, then thats something you would have found out anyway eventually so it might as well be sooner then later. You're not going to get gayer then you are now by trying it, you will just discover whats already there, or what isn't there at all. It's completely possible that you'll try it and hate it.
