I watched a documentary once called Bug Chasers or something like that. It did my head in. I never realised their was a subset within the gay community of young guys looking to purposely become infected with HIV. I couldn't believe it. I still can't.

Any form of bareback is going to heighten the risk of infection. I still can't believe I managed to go through my drunk slut days and not catch anything worse than crabs. When I look back on some of the stupid shit I did, that I'm HIV- amazes me. I must have had someone looking out for me.

I often wonder if low self esteem is connected to these "bareback gang bang at my place" type advertisements on places like manhunt, gaydar etc.
