yes, the establishment, no matter how aligned with your ideas they seem, are using you. i dont blame the democratic party for all of it, a lot of it has to do with identity politics of homophobia and not taking on larger roles in the political process other than to push 'equal rights' we forget about everything else.

a lot of other people changed, too. MANY, MANY MILLIONS since the Nineties and DADT/DOMA acts. So you're saying that in no way is Hillary entitled to change in any sincere way, no matter what, and she is guaranteed to be lying when she says she's OK with it after all, huh?

I'm sure you know people who have changed their viewpoints, and you believe they're sincere, but you're holding Hillary to a different standard, one that prevents her from *EVER* possibly truly changing.

If this was 2108 and it was Chelsea's great-granddaughter running for president, you would be yammering that her great-great-grandmother was once against gay marriage.

Thanks for enlightening me...I'm so glad that it was Republicans in places like Minnesota and Maryland who voted for legal same-sex marriage, and that it was Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Alito, and Kennedy (as the swing vote) who made the favorable ruling in the Obergefell case. I didn't know that. Who knew???

I even heard that the 2016 party platform for one of the major parties, says that Conversion Therapy is absolutely wonderful, and should be encouraged (and of course involuntary force is surely OK). So, that MUST be in the Democratic Party platform, because you told me that the Democrats aren't supporting gay issues.

What counts is RIGHT NOW. What Hillary Clinton (and some other Democrats) might have thought in 1997 is history, unless they didn't change their minds - and many have, and it has NOTHING to do with 2016 or 2017.
