I didnt watch Game of Thrones until afterward when it was popular. After watching it, I didnt know what the fuss was about. There were a few good moments, but I wasnt into it.

I wont be watching 'House of the Dragon'


If I had Crave TV, I would watch but I dont so I wont be watching but the trailer was good. I have heard that the prequel is better than GOT

My favorite scene from GOT was 'the window'. That was priceless!!!
 
No, I've never seen the series and do not have any subscription services, streaming, or cable, so have few offerings of the miniseries or new series like this.

From the distance, GOT seems a lot like a soap with extra steps, as all the scheming and loathing and pairings of lovers and rivals reminds one of the melodrams of daytime television, but in better sets, costumes, and CGI.

The series' mythical setting also is yet another one of the modern shows that reinvents the dragon, and in doing so, seems to be doing repair to the old tales instead of presenting them authentically.

Ugh. Emilia Clarke and I were disgusted by the lack of male nudity in the show, especially the pathetic dick/ass to bewbs ratio.

As to this new show? Eh.

GoT is admittedly one of the best shows/book series of all time. But besides needing way more Arya and Brienne, the last season especially was such a bust. All the cheap deaths and the direction it was heading with the Kaleesi, makin' her into a batshit banshee. I couldn't even finish. #still bitter.
 
For some strange reason (or maybe I am just lazy) - I pay for Netflix every month and don't think I have ever watched anything on Netflix. I have heard of Game of Thrones - never saw it and have no interest to do so. I rarely watch any new series anymore.
 
I did not watch Game of Thrones, so no.

I have never heard of Crave TV ?? The link in the first post says HBO Max.

Think it's on hbo. Yeah netflix is mostly gross, give them as little $$ as possible. But GoT is required viewing, iconic and suchnot.
 
Dude, 80% of the guys in here are boomers with an old box style tv from the 1980s with rabbit ears.

I was thinking about it last night but in my family, I was the channel turner. I would stand by the t.v. and change the channels
