so no real analysis and nothing definite....but hopefully the Ukraine has a new president that can patch the nation back together...all in all he seems like a reasonable choice.

The best thing is that he has serious financial interests on both sides, Russia and the EU. In that, he represents the reality that should have prevented this in the first place: Ukraine isn't going to be cut off from Russia, and it isn't going to be cut off from the EU. The previous leaders should have taken advantage of offers and aid from both sides.


I'm not sure what the article means about him giving up the chocolate factory. Is he putting it into blind management, the sort of thing US politicians do, or what?
 
the latest news, seems like UKRAINE is in the civil war ... which is very bad and spread to Europe.
 
People killed daily from political violence is not a civil war ?
