Windows 10? Are you going to do it?

What does the start menu in 10 look like? I have classic shell in and was able to get the menu to look like I wanted.

I'm getting the pop up every time I start windows 7. Almost tempted to upgrade now but I'm going to enjoy Win7 a bit longer.

I uploaded to Windows 10 and the installation seemed to go alright. A couple of weeks later my computer froze. I found out that when I updated it messed up my protection programs so they weren't working even though they said that they were. I got a big bill having someone fix things.

Better terminology for what happened above is; when I updated my Windows I should also have updated my protection programs.

I still have my windows icon saying that my update is reserved but as of yet not received any notice that I can update.

Do you think that they have forgotten me?:(

Here's the thing. I'm a software developer and I've been testing windows 10 for months on 4 different machines. Furthermore, I've been testing the rollback feature several times on 3 different machines with 2 different previous OS's. Nothing has ever gone wrong. Ever.

Does it have an inbuilt video player now?

And, if Microsoft would get their shit together, put out a product that didn't need shitloads of updates and changes –

This is completely proven by the fact that right up til the moment they stopped supporting XP they were issueing updates and patches for it

I updated from Windows 8.1, to Windows 10, it was a free upgrade and am very happy I did. The only problem I had was my FSX did not like it. I re-installed FSX, all the addons without any problems and my system is working very nicely. Windows 8 and 8.1 were just not right for desktops.
I am very satisfied with the performance of Windows 10 with my desktop.
Yes, I am a dinosaur, with a desktop system.
