windows 10, trouble downloading pornhub video with VLC Player

I installed VLC Player today thinking I would be able to download a pornhub video, but not having much look. I followed instructions eg:
choose video for download>select its url, copy>open VCL Player>go to Media and down to convert/save> click on Network and paste the copied URL there> click the little drop-down menus, and click Play> then you see video playing on VLC Player> but when I click pay nothing happens. the video doesn't appear. So I am wondering if there is another way to do it OR if it may be easier to record the screen when video is playing? I have never done that before though.

Can anyone help with this problem?

OK this forum is totally useless I get it. So then may I ask, IF you had this problem where is best place to get help about it. preferably people who don't get all upset cause i wanna download porn?

My solution was to have a paid program which, handily, has a "record screen" feature.
In other words if you can see it you can save it.
The downside it's done in real time only.

Have you tried "Video Download Helper" in Firefox?

That usually will save whatever file I ask it to.

I used to have it, but i was with a really outdated system for ages, XP and it went out of date. Got windows 10 before Christmas. Thanks for reminding me. I will try to reinstall it

OK I have installed "Video Download Helper" And when I went to download the video it gave me choice between browser and App, and in another try it said i needed the app to download it so I insalled it but i am still not sure which option to choose to downlad the video. Does this could right to you? I am not used to technical lingo. it says 'HLS Streaming 1920x1080 2.2 Mbps - MP4' Does this sound like the right option to choose to download it??

Very recently I learned my AnySoft Video Converter Ultimate will download any video from anywhere by simply pasting a URL in a download box.
I just bought a new computer for the house and installed the FREE version on that one and discovered I can do the same thing........
You can even adjust the video quality for higher speed jacking.......

I've been using Video Download Helper for Firefox for many years and it has worked quite well for the most part, even on PornHub. Recently, though, PornHub changed and now, instead of downloading a video file, you download a video stream. If it isn't a reliable stream, the video portion comes out jerky and, and times, freezes completely (and annoyingly) for several very long seconds.

That doesn't happen with Any Video. The videos are clean and smooth. Not only that, it also has simple editing functions like 'clipping' videos if you want to keep only a portion of it or you can rotate those videos that are posted horizontally.

Glad you tried it!
I have another paid program for downloading which isn't nearly as versatile as AnySoft.
I was using AnySoft for converting video downloads to FLV format which is an incredible format for reducing file sizes.
My paid program would act stupid at many sites and I discovered the downloading feature of AnySoft by accident.
I love it too!
