The service pack for Windows 7 has been out for a few months now. I remember the debacle with Windows Vista's first SP when people couldn't get their computers to restart. Has anyone installed this service pack? Any experiences?

Windows 7 SP1... anyone install it yet?

Installed it as soon as it came out. One install on a Win7 64-bit machine and one on a VirtualBox Win7 32-bit machine on the same host. No problems whatsoever.

I installed it a while back now and have had no problems at all, hope this helps
i installed it, and i have a student version of windows 7 that i PAID around 30 for through my school, its a legit copy no joke, but win 7 gave me that genuine advantage bullshit during the restart. but when i skipped past it, it does not affect anything on my machine.
i did feel some things ran slightly slower though, i have an OCD eye for sure LOL. this system is an old fujitsu lifebook S series, works very well, made in 2005, still good with its processor and 2gig ram, hard to find drivers but i found them all baby, and it works clean and simple, very stable, and runs windows 7 LOL

On one computer it installed without a hitch.......I had enough failed installs on the other computer so I blocked the update........ ](/images/smilies/bang.gif "Brick wall ](*,)")
