I was introduced to Windows at ver 3.0
 
I liked the Windows 98 Startup better what does the startup sound like for Windows 7.

It would appear so.

Never paid attention as the first thing I do is turn-off common windows sounds.

Like the sound when one clicks a link. grrr
 
It wasn't really a problem for me, at first.

It was a rewarding sound like "good boy, you opened a folder." I started to salivate just at it's sound.

But then there were some web pages where it would fire-off the sound like a machine gun and I thought "time to go."
