Okay guys, now I wanted to once again apologize for the delay, but this chapter took a little extra focus. Thank you all for reading and again, I want to thank my very good friend for helping me when needed
I do switch from Aaron's perspective to Luke's halfway through so I could bring in an issue that I believe is still a very important issue in our times. It doesn't get discussed enough and it is my belief that ALL people need to be aware that certain things can happen to anyone. So as a disclaimer to the ending, do not pass judgment on me, for I'm not just trying to shock you.
ENJOY!

Wings of A Butterfly
Chapter Ten:
The Stand Up
“Come on Aaron, you gotta come out sometime.”
I’m not here, go away.
“You can’t stay in there forever.”
I can try.
“Aaron…please…”
The sound of Carly’s voice begging me to leave the confines of my room was really hard to ignore. She sounded so desperate. After she called last night asking about what happened, I knew she felt guilty about pushing me to go for it. It didn’t matter though, it was my fault anyway.
“Come on Aaron…this isn’t healthy.”
She had been at my door for almost an hour now, pleading with me to come out. I was probably about ready to crack when she gave up.
“I gotta go to class Aaron. Please call me.”
My eyes stung from the air when I opened them. I don’t think I stopped crying at all last night. I was still in my clothes, which were dry now but crusty from the water. I decided I should at least shower and change. It took a lot of effort to get up from my bed. My energy was completely drained, but I managed to make it to the closet to grab a towel and a fresh change of clothes. The light rapping of someone’s knuckle against my door came just as I was about to open it and leave.
“Aaron…”
It was him.
“Please talk to me…”
I remained silent.
“I know you’re in there.”
Without hesitation, I dropped the clothes in my hand and opened the door. I don’t know why I did it, but it happened. He was standing there wearing sweats and a tight gray t-shirt. His hair was slightly messy and his eyes were bloodshot. He had something in his hand, but it was hidden behind his back. A smile attempted to penetrate his forlorn expression, but was unable to.
“Can I come in?” he asked.
“If you have to,” I said.
My voice was rough and harsh. I hadn’t planned on it, but that’s just the way it came out. He hesitantly stepped forward as I moved out of his way. His approach was careful, and he slowly made his way into the center of my room. He held something out to me and took a deep breath.
“Aaron, I swear I never had any intention to put this in my final draft,” he said.
“If that’s what you’ve come to talk about then you might as well leave,” I said.
He looked as if I had just slapped him.
“How can you act so cold?” he asked softly.
“Years of practice,” I said.
“Can you just hear me out please?” he asked.
“Fine,” I said, “You have one minute.”
“Here,” he said handing me the paper, “This is the final draft. You can check the date the printer left on the back.”
I took it from him and crossed my arms with it in my hand.
“I would never hurt you intentionally,” he said.
“Lucas…you just don’t get it,” I said.
I walked over to him and held the paper in front of me.
“Whether you decided to put it in your final draft or not, you still considered it,” I said.
“No!” he yelled, “I swear I didn’t.”
“But it’s in your notes, which means that part of you considered it. Even if it was just for a second, you still had the intention at one point.”
I walked over to the door, opened it, and motioned for him to leave. He slowly walked towards me, and stopped when he was inches away from me.
“Aaron,” he said.
“Lucas…I’m not saying goodbye,” I said.
His face almost lit up when I said that.
“But I am saying that I don’t think a relationship would work,” I said.
The excitement left him just as quickly as it came.
“Well,” he said, “If that’s your decision then this should just be goodbye.”
A moment of silence passed between the two of us.
“I like you way too much to be just friends with you,” he said.
I looked away from him, not knowing what to say. He lifted his hand and placed it on my shoulder, and his pain passed through him into me. It shattered my anger and all I wanted to do was grab him and tell him not to leave, but he was already out the door. Shame washed over me and I went back over to my bed. I sat down with the paper in my hand.
I flipped it over and started reading…
“You can’t turn this in,” I said.
Lucas looked up from his book to see me standing in front of his desk. The classroom was just barely filling up and he was sitting in the front for the first time. He looked empty, as if the only thing keeping him together was ripped away from him. I felt a knot in my heart when I looked at his vacant eyes.
“Why can’t I?” he asked, “There’s nothing in there that will embarrass or betray you.”
“That’s my point,” I said, “There is no way in hell this paper will get an A.”
“Is that really the kind of person you are?” he asked, “Do you really kick people while they’re down?”
“Luke listen,” I said as I sat down next to him, “I was wrong to get mad, but you can’t turn this in without the part about my mom.”
“Well it’s a bit late for that,” he said. His tone never changed and every word he said hurt me a little more.
“Actually,” I said pulling a folder out of my bag, “It isn’t.”
“What’s that?” he asked.
“I rewrote your essay,” I said, “And added the part about my mom.”
“Why?”
“Because…it’s the only thing that will definitely give you an A,” I said.
“Aaron, I don’t care about that,” he said, “I’m not gonna willingly do something to hurt you.”
“What’s the big deal? I’m already mad at you. This isn’t going to change anything,” I said.
You are such a liar…
“I’m not doing it,” he said.
“Fine…”
I grabbed his essay and ripped it in half.
“Now you’ve got nothing else to turn in,” I said.
A look of shock crossed his face as he said, “You are such a dick…”
“Then fine…I’m a dick,” I said.
He grabbed the folder out of my hand and stood up. As he walked towards the back of the room, I felt myself break apart inside. I had hoped he would recognize that as an apology, but he had to force my hand…
Class went by faster than usual. It felt as if it had just started when Professor Robbins was concluding his lecture. Before I could pack up my things, I saw Lucas shoot out the door. I quickly gathered my books and grabbed my bag as I bolted out after him. He was walking quickly with his head hanging towards the ground. I could tell he was crying. He turned down an alleyway between the two buildings and I followed him into it.
“Lucas!” I yelled.
He stopped dead in his tracks and said, “What do you want?”
“Can we talk?” I asked.
“I told you already, I don’t want to talk,” he said.
“I know that’s not true,” I said.
He remained silent.
“Come on Luke…” I said.
“What do you want from me Aaron?”
“I don’t know,” I said, “Just not this.”
“Aaron I just can’t do it,” he said, “I can’t see you everyday if it tears me up inside. I can’t talk to you if hearing your voice breaks my heart. I can’t be around you if I can’t be with you.”
He lifted his hand and brushed it against my cheek. His eyes were closed in pain, and I could feel everything I was angry about dissipate as the feeling of his skin touching mine sent another shock through me. I grabbed his hand and held it against my cheek as I pulled him in and kissed him. Tears were coming from both of us as we kissed, and the world seemed to stand still around us. He pulled away and looked into my eyes.
“I’m…confused,” he said.
“Yeah so am I,” I said.
“What does this mean?” he asked.
“I’m not sure…but you’re right. We can’t be just friends. There’s always going to be something more between us.”
“So you are saying goodbye then?” he asked.
“What do you think?” I said as I pulled him back towards me with a small smile on my face.
“I think I like saying goodbye,” he said with a grin.
He pulled me into him and kissed me softly on the neck. A small moan escaped me as his lips met my skin. He let out a slight chuckle when he heard me. I opened my eyes and saw his bright hazel eyes staring back at me, with the big beautiful grin accompanying them.
“You need to go get ready,” I said softly.
“For what?” he asked.
“You’re buying me dinner to apologize,” I said.
“What?!” he said in an insulted tone.
“Don’t worry,” I said, “I’m buying dessert to apologize to you.”
“Oh really now?” he asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
“Yeah,” I said as I started walking away, “Meet me at 7. I’ll text you the information.”
“Where are you going?” he asked.
“I got a job interview in 20 minutes,” I said, “I’ll see you at 7.”
My phone buzzed in my pocket when I was sitting in my Astronomy class. I snuck a look at it and saw it was from Aaron. After class was released I opened it to see the information he sent me. I hadn’t heard of the restaurant before so I had to Google it when I got back to my room. It turned out to be a little Mexican restaurant that was about 3 miles away from the campus.
I sat on my bed and looked at the clock that seemed to be burning through the coming darkness with the numbers forming the time, 5:30. As I lay back on the pillows, my mind was overwhelmed with thoughts of Aaron. The thoughts of him touching me and kissing me made my heart race in my chest. I imagined his body lying on top of mine as his hands explored mine and his lips pressed against my skin.
I felt my cock stiffen in my jeans as I imagined Aaron descending upon it, and unbuttoning my pants with his teeth. I imagined his warm lips wrapping around my cock underneath the fabric of my boxers. Suddenly, we were alone in the Student Union. The building was empty except for us and the lights were all out. He pulled me by my shirt collar onto a couch in the middle of the room. As I fell on top of him our lips met and his arms encased me in his embrace.
He flipped us over and sat up to take off his shirt. His body looked amazing in my mind. I ran my fingers across his stomach, but the feeling could not be imagined. I dejectedly returned my attention onto myself as Aaron leaned back in to slowly lift my shirt as he kissed a trail up my stomach and chest until his lips met mine again. He returned to my unbuttoned pants and peeled back the fabric of my boxers to unleash my stiff cock. The feeling of my – his fingers on my cock made me jump a little.
I watched as, despite him being a virgin, he took my whole cock in his mouth like a pro. I’ve been given a blowjob before, but there was something about Aaron that made imagining one twenty times better. His ghostly hands roamed my skin and left little shockwaves in their path. The shockwaves continued across my skin until they reached my balls and I felt myself climaxing. I looked up at Aaron who was preparing to take my whole load in his mouth.
I released everything I was holding back and I watched as the scene in my head dissolved around me, and I was once again alone in my room with a fresh pool of cum all over my hand. I took a moment to catch my breath and sighed sharply when I realized that Aaron wasn’t there.
A rush of shame came flooding into me as I realized what I had done. I grabbed a handful of tissues and cleaned myself up as my conscious reamed into me for fantasizing about my celibate boyfriend. No matter how I tried to look at it, this was a form of pressuring him, whether he knew about it or not. The guilt was so intense I felt I needed to take a shower to wash the betrayal off of me.
I walked into the restaurant and was astonished at how busy it was. Aaron said he wanted us to apologize to each other, but I had no idea he wanted it to be so public. I requested a seat at a booth near the front so he could see me when he walked in. The waiter brought some chips, salsa, and water and handed me a menu. Twenty minutes passed and there was no sign of Aaron.
Ten more minutes passed and I pulled out my phone and called him.
“Hey you’ve reached Aaron, don’t you feel special? Leave a message and I’ll get back to you if I feel like it.”
Damn, voicemail.
“Hey Aaron, it’s Luke. I’m at the restaurant. I don’t know if you got held up or something. Gimme a call, I’ll wait for you.”
45 more minutes passed and I was started to get very worried. The waiter had been back several times asking about “our other party” and I just kept telling him a few more minutes. I called Aaron’s cell again and it went directly to voicemail.
“Aaron, I’m getting worried. Where are you? Please call me.”
A whole hour a half had gone by and still no sign of Aaron. I went through the whole basket of chips and the waiter came back a 5th time looking very annoyed.
“Look, I know you’re pretty bummed right now but I’m working to pay off some debt right now and I need you to clear this table,” he said.
“Sorry,” I said, “Thank you anyway.”
“I’m sorry man, it sucks getting stood up I know. Her loss right?” he said.
“Yeah…right,” I said.
I didn’t even want to correct him. My mind was lingering on the words “getting stood up.” Aaron didn’t stand me up…
Did he?
I walked out into the cool crisp air of the night and took in a deep breath. I was obsessively checking my phone to make sure it didn’t die or to make sure that I didn’t put it on silent. But Aaron never called back. By the time I got back to my room I had probably checked it thirty or forty times. I lost count after 25 or so.
I slowly changed my clothes and crawled into bed alone. I had so been hoping that tonight I finally would have fallen asleep with Aaron in my arms, but I guess he just didn’t have the guts to break things off with me directly…
The ringing of my phone woke me out of a sound sleep. I didn’t remember falling asleep, but I didn’t care. I got Aaron’s message loud and clear tonight and I didn’t want to wake up and face a reality without him when I could have him in my dreams. The phone wouldn’t seem to stop ringing so I threw the blankets off of me and sat up to answer it. The word “RESTRICTED” was displayed on my screen.
“Hello?” I said weakly.
“…”
“Hello? Who’s there?”
“Luke…” Aaron said in a raspy voice.
“Aaron?” I asked, “It’s 3 in the morning. What happened are you okay?”
“No…” he said.
“What happened?” I asked again.
“I…I...” he said between sharp gasps.
“Aaron?” I asked.
He was sobbing softly on the other end as he said, “I w-was raped…”
