(!) (!) Deciduous trees are finally budding: it's early March for Fuck's sake, it was about time!!

Not time yet here, still another month or three to go.

Winter's been on and off over here.... 70 degrees on average.... and then BAM 59 degrees and rain. o.o

That has been he case over here too, there are always "little summers/springtimes" all through winter, but when there are new leafs all over, winter's out

Mental note: isn't it odd that the rest of the trees aren't known as "indecisive"? It bothered me when I took botany that Taxodium is one of our only "deciduous evergreens." ;)
It's not odd when you mix up decedere and decidere

The only bad thing about pretending to be stupid is that your detractors jump on the opportunity to believe it.

It's not easy to make puns in languages I don't even speak, especially the dead, unspoken ones.

:p
The worse thing about following the game of pretending that someone is stupid, is that you will be taken seriously even by those who started the game
In fact I had assumed that you knew what you were talking about and were just having fun with word derivation and evolution (damn, it's so easy to just write etymology, but then some may say that you are using a big word... well, "big" topics ask for "big" words), so I thought you would say that my post would make better sense if I had made it start with "It's odd only...". But now there's no use in writing why I chose the other way, is there?
Now, about languages and speaking, do you usually also read them..? when you are not browsing a message board, that is...

Oh, I fogot to add that you can confess or pretend  that you were feigning outrage and that you were only fooling me...

As of 11:13 AM EST on Sunday, March 6, there are six inches of new snow on the ground in Rochester, NY, and it is snowing right now.....

No spring in sight here.....

I didn't realize that our solar system has suddenly changed and the vernal equinox now comes 2 weeks earlier.

We had two inches of snow last night. I'm waiting for Spring.

Two months to go, and we'll be able to plant the garden.

Okay, two and a half.

I'm surprised when I go to the store and still see tiny mountains of ice from the snow storms of winter, but I'm glad it's almost summer ;D

There is a Carnival celebration going on, down out there as I write this: crazy Spaniards!

We had 82 degree weather here on Monday. It's in the 60s now, and it'll be in the high 50s this coming week, but winter has definitely been over for a while.
