This week I heard about Robert Plant performing Kashmir live at the Royal Albert Hall with Nigel Kennedy on March 14th.

I would have given anything to be there for that performance.

Do you have a concert or a performance in your lifetime that you remember where you thought " Gee, I wish I'd been there"

One of the great rock songs of all time---would have been great to be there---Plant is doing great music in his old age.

Yeah, a lot of my favorite bands are pretty old, and I wish I was there to watch them play live during their heyday.

Black Flag

Death

But there's also fairly modern ones that I wish would come to TJ's Black Box.

Midnight

Nervosa

I wish i'd been old enough to go to a Michael Jackson concert just around the Thriller/Bad albums, before he got the God complex.

Or a Tina Turner concert.

I've seen most of the people that I like that are still alive. I missed Bowie last time he was in California, it sold out too fast. I wish I'd seen Hendrix, the Doors, Janis Joplin, the Rolling Stones in the 60's or 70's, Led Zeppelin, The Who with Keith Moon....it's a long list. My parents love to torture me because they saw most of the greats of the 60's & 70's. I wish I could've been at the Led Zeppelin show at the O2 Arena in London, but at least it was filmed.

Tina Turner concert, just after she really made it huge, was fucking incredible.

A Grateful Dead concert I was offered tickets to that I couldn't maje because of a work meeting. I don't remember the meeting. The regret lingers.
