yep. I like almost every song on the new albumn The Heart Of Everything, especially the titled song

Memories is also a good song.

Also youtube "Two for tragedy" it's a song by Nightwish, another one of those metal opera bands.

I adore Within Temptation... here are 3 of my favourite videos from them...

Enjoy...

i got into WT when they came out with the other half of me.

:)

LOVE their older stuff, but the most recent album is poppier, but great.

Still, i can't understand why they would have gone poppier.. at least not RIGHT NOW.

WT is great.

Sharon is hot, but Simone Simmons and Floor Jansen are 10 times hotter and heavier. They kick Sharon's butt.

:gogirl:

Can't get enough of this band.

"Frozen" was my pick for #1 song of 2007! I liked The Silent Force more than The Heart of Everything, but both albums would be in my top 10 of the decade, for sure.

WT is awesome! I like their earlier stuff the best, although THOE is still great.

First of all, symphonic metal is my favourite music genre, I absolutely adore it!

I love them, definately on my top 5 list :D

The funny thing is, the songs you posted being your fave ones, are actually both B-sides. Talking about B-sides, IMO, their best song, Overcome, is also a B-side ;)

I wouldn't really classify their recent stuff as gothic, but their earlier stuff had some very gothic influences, then they went for a more celtic sound and the most recent stuff is more rock oriented :-)

If you like them and you want to check out more similar bands (that are perhaps a bit more metal and gothic oriented) you should check out:

Epica
After Forever
Nightwish
Lacuna Coil
Evanescence (they've got metal and gothic influences)

Epica75 posted some fine video examples of After Forever and Epica :-)

Within Temptation is amazing! I love that band...

First got into them when their album The Silent Force came out...

Jullian, and A Dangerous Mind were my absolute favorite while everything else was just my favorite!

Their new album is really good as well
