Am I the only homo that doesn't care *girls start clutching those pearls now* about Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland, or Broadway Musicals?

No. You're not. I doubt the Millennials can relate much. That seems to be a product of those of us born between 1930 to maybe 1980.

Sort of the "Friends of Dorothy" generation, many of whom hated themselves for being gay relate to the tragic, damaged Judy, Barbra and whoever else gay men relate to (Liza??) as part of the secret pain of psoriasis...um, homosexuality. I didn't go thru any of that either: came out at 11 in the early '60s to my parents, so, no high drama or rending of garments and gnashing of teeth.

P.S. I DO love TWOO, but more because of the parable in it: greater love hath no man than he will lay down his life for his brothers, theme, which Dorothy demonstrates by leaving home in order to save Toto, and then the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion ended up willing to give up their lives in order to rescue Dorothy from The Wicked Witch. Higher Love! I admire that tremendously.

As a kid this was my favorite movie.! I always loved the scene when it went from Black and White to Color. It was the differentiation between real(black and white) and imagination (Color). This movie was and will always be a classic! They used to show this on TV around Easter on TV every year.
