Makes me wonder why these women even had kids at all if they hate them?

What makes you think parental planning is a choice every woman gets to navigate? They're stuck with the results, as it were.

I'm inclined to think her mental illness snapped her, if only because of the oven combined with her missing 2 of the kids. Oven is damned unusual, though fire may conceal a multitude of sins, can't forget that possibility - but missing 2 of the kids is unusual as well if she were sane enough for decent premeditation. As always, there's a sliding scale.

However, if they were both boys I could see how she might extrapolate her ex or her ex's actions onto 'em. Could have done that full of sanity or lacking every rationality, if that's the way the reasoning process went. Though if it's lacking rationality I can pretty much promise the 'thinking' involved probably isn't anything most people would recognize as a cause-and-effect scenario.

Haven't looked at abuse statistics and what it tends to warp lately, have ya.

I wasn't gonna mention it, but there you go, commenting on the oven size. I'd wondered that too. There's no way they'd fit together in a conventional without some serously large, specialized pans and twine and it's unlikely they would've fit alive, or at least, awake.

Mental illness or assholishness has nothing to do with evolving or a parental instinct (nor is parental instinct automatic in everyone, quite a few new parents have to 'grow into it',) and I highly doubt a state welfare program was incentive for anything, you horrible little man. Let me guess, you saw they were black or guessed from the kids names, what with bringing up welfare.

I believe there are also laws in places (Peterborough is one) which allow police and other concerned citizens to smash car windows to rescue both children or pets locked inside without repercussion from the car owners.

Ibelieve that is also the case in the UK
