Hey Ron........love ya!

I'm a Cashmere type of guy......just got a bunch at Target(and I was none to impressed with the store but the price was right)

People don't look at the register to see that the product they bought rung up for the right price down under?

At my store they do it all the time, then bitch at me if it doesn't like I personally changed the price right in front of them with the magic of the scanner I keep in my shoe for just such a purpose.

I hardly read all the fine print myself, but I usually make a point to pay attention to the cash register screen to see if anything appears out of wack. I let the cashier know right away if the price wasn't around what I had anticipated. I also have membership cards to the places I frequently go to the most. Figured it would save me money in the long run as I'm a creature of habit when it comes to shopping.

I know it's the principle, but what cost you a few bucks now can save you much more in the future.

So is the Australian "Woolworths" connected at all with the "Woolworths" (department store) we had here in the States, years ago?

^ Nope - the people who started the Aussie version used the name for their own venture in the 1920s, I think.
No actual relationship between the two.

The display is that small you can't see.

Oh one more thing,
Woolworth now always ask if you want a receipt or not.
Many times people say no, so they can't check the prices.
