Workout Songs?

i'll admit i don't work-out.. but olivia newton-john's 'physical' hasto top the list..

cardio or weight training? when doing cardio i usually try to find music thats 130+ beats per minute. dance music works for me.

I agree with jaxguyfl. Depends on what you're doing.

Staples are "The New Work Out Plan" by Kanye West & "Workout" by Frankie Knuckles.

Just for fun, throw a lil RSF up in their. Gets you smiling every time!

I'm not sure who to suggest, but something upbeat and fast works well. You usually tend to tire out faster if you use slower songs...also, something kind of loud helps too.

: ) Love Olivia.

Think Tina has that song - Sexercise.

Anyway, I prefer to go with upbeat songs. Any songs that wanna get your feet tapping.

I Just Wanna Fucking Dance.
Round by Sugababes.
Music by Madonna.
Everybody Dance Now - C & C Music Factory and more.

Me too jaxguyfl; cardio & dance its the Cars. This will sound strange, but for resistance training I enjoy some opera & Dave Matthews band.

Do 40 minutes on the elliptical at home so spent a while finding the music that works for me. Guess you'd call it Old School - Donna Summer, EWF, Janet, Weather Girls etc. burned onto a CD and cranked.

Up-beat tracks by The Rapture & Gnarls Barkley - energetic and fun!

anything by 2 Unlimited such as Ready for This or No Limits.

Britney - Toxic, always makes me dance.

anything by madonna really...

^I like New Born better. It's got a faster bpm and it really builds in intensity over the course of the song. I calculate beats per minute for all my music and then build playlists that ramp it up or down depending on my needs. I've also got smart playlists that group the music into various bpm ranges. As to what gets you worked up, it's different for the individual. I like a range of everything, but System of a Down will really bring me up if I'm tiring out.

any song thats really hard and grimey gets me in the mood

What Ya Waiting For? - Gwen Stefani
Who's Your Daddy - Benny Benassi
Fighter - Christina Aguilera
I'm Human - Lil' Kim
Headsprung - LL Cool J
Respect - Notorious B.I.G.

OOOOW OW, get me a spandex jumpsut and a sweat band and I'm ready to work that cardio!!!
